This kind of post appears on Reddit roughly once a week, though it doesn't always hit the top 100. The answer is the same every time. Some women even in this thread have done a full self-aware-wolves comment on it. Cargo shorts is the most common example. Even men get trashed for those actually.

In aggregate women want cute/hot clothes, usually very form fitting, and there just aren't enough women who prioritize pockets for major brands to focus on it. Plenty of off-style products and even expensive stylish niche products with pockets for women. But women don't want to wear them.

As a dirty commie(not quite but still) I have strong negative opinions about "the market" but in this case capitalism holds up. If there was a serious demand for pockets for women it would happen.
