As a gay (not that it necessarily makes my opinion more valuable), he's most likely on my list to be gay or bisexual, if I were to make that list, which I won't. Typically closeted gay men tend to overcompensate and think "gay" things are icky. Arin, in my opinion, is the "straightest" guy, if that were even a thing, with the D club and all. If you can touch dicks with another man and not get hard, then damn, that's pretty heterosexual. When the d club comes up in conversation, Dan typically has an "icky" attitude towards it, again, overcompensation. Closeted gays sometimes are so delusional they don't even think they themselves are gay. If you ask me, Arin is definitely not bisexual, he's very confident in his sexuality, going as far as to touch cocks with other men for non-sexual reasons.

This isn't meant to offend anyone, but it's just what I've read and seen personally. "Homophobic" men are much more likely to have sexual attraction towards men (not gay) (there's actually been a study on this that measured blood flow to the penis while watching gay porn) and men who are okay with gay men are more likely to be straight. Remember the anti-gay pastor who was big a couple days ago for being found on Grindr, the gay dating app? While Dan isn't outright homophobic, the same principle applies. He's not homophobic because he's not ignorant. He knows that would be detrimental to his image.

Now, do I think Dan is gay? Well, it's possible, but it's not any of my goddamn business. I'm not trying to get with him and I don't think anyone here is either.

Overcompensation! Think about it, if you stole the cookie from the cookie jar, and you don't want anyone to know, you might go as far as to hide any and all evidence of you stealing that cookie. In this scenario, Dan stole the cookie, and Arin didn't. Arin can make jokes about the cookie and touch the cookie and talk about eating the cookie, because he knows he didn't do it. Dan, however, cannot talk about the cookie or touch the cookie, because he fears that if someone notices him with the cookie, the truth will be revealed. Or something to that effect.

Then again, when you're on the internet for so long talking about random shit, there are people who are bound to make assumptions about your personality based on what they've seen of you, not based on you yourself, so take this with a dick of salt.
