With COVID and winter illnesses coming back we really don’t need public access to pitt buildings it’s unnecessary and regardless if this particular perpetrator was a college student or not, increased access increases the danger. Your argument with the doors is valid though, I’m sure there are other safety restrictions that come into play also. The other demands like increased surveillance and security seem fine to me, the people made it clear that they didn’t more security = more guns but like u said perhaps more patrolling would suffice. Regardless the problem is fucked up and may require lot of solutions but If people can’t even go to the cathedral in the middle of the day with out getting assaulted it’s absolutely necessary we look for these solutions.
