PSA rent and inflation

I sound like someone who’s tired of the current bullshit system valuing air BnB properties over giving homeless veterans houses. Yeah, you’re right. I find living situations and food an inalienable right for people and think others who see this differently are greedy assholes. “The economy doesn’t work that way” and being satisfied with that answer is disgusting. We live in a nation of excess everything and there’s people dying from freezing to death in the winter, dying of heat stroke in the summer because people buy up property to try and get a nicer car. It’s beyond fucked up. The current system is broken. Do whatever you want but it should weigh in your conscious that you own two homes, live in one, and have permanently taken places for others to live. I’d rather pay a mortgage at higher cost than rent because you’ll suck the money as long as they stay and in the end they’re left with nothing if they can’t pay the bill despite if being there over time paying your mortgage. It’s gross, and it’s wrong
