Yeah, I wouldn’t call myself a Mario veteran but definitely a Mario enthusiast / fan. I wasn’t trying to defend OP’s use of the word veteran, just get a grasp of your view on it. I guess people just don’t think too much before writing stuff online. An example of this is not only the way OP used the word veteran but also you saying I claimed to be a veteran when I clearly didn’t. Ultimately, it’s not really worth getting hung up on, whether it’s OP using a word incorrectly, you replying to me as if I were the OP, or the fact that you said you were playing Mario games in 1977/1978, before a single one had been released. The point isn’t being 100% correct all the time but to be understood, which you both were.
