Question for anyone who got into irl boxing after playing TOTF

Used to do some boxing at my local leisure centre between the age of about 11 to 15. I wasn't obsessive about it but probably spent between 1-4 hours a week on bags or sparring. I used to play a lot of football and tennis as well, so my fitness levels were pretty good back then.

This is going back over 20 years ago.

In the back of my head, I always thought I would box again one day, but just never did. I've been playing Thrill of the Fight for a few weeks now. Undoubtedly, I think the best thing about this game is I feel like my fitness levels are getting back to an almost respectable level, so if I were to box again irl, fitness would definitely be one less thing to worry about and I'd almost certainly be able to hit the ground running a lot quicker IMO.

Although of course when you're boxing irl, you're typically wearing gloves that weigh around 16oz, the controllers on an oculus only weigh 4oz each, plus irl you have opponents who tend to punch back, but even still, I think you would almost certainly be better off playing TOTF then going to a boxing class in comparison to going to a boxing class having never played TOTF at all.
