I'm looking for wired earbuds to replace the Galaxy Buds + my mom didn't like and let me use, but I don't like them either. I posted in the other sub and looked at the reviews here but nothing wowed me that much. I'm not a headphones person, I just want something decent for listening to music and games. I'm from the US.

Budget - $0-150, Semi flexible I guess?

Source - Plugged into my Galaxy Note 9, Windows PC. Playback from local files, or streamed from Spotify or Youtube.

Requirements for Isolation - Comparable to the Galaxy Buds + at least. I want them to drown out PC fans/Cintiq fan and other background noises. (I just hate hearing too much noise in the background)

Will you be using these Headphones in Public? No, but I don't like sound leakage if that's what this is asking, it's just very annoying to me.

Type of Headphone - IEMs/Earbuds only. Under-ear fit is a bonus but I know almost all of them have converted to that "How to Wear your earbuds the right way" style.

Preferred tonal balance - I'd like them to be balanced overall but I'm not overly discerning.

Past headphones -

  • Beats earbuds: maybe sounded a little muddy, sounds fine though.
  • Galaxy Buds +: Sounds fine, I just don't want wireless anymore
  • Skullcandy Ink'D: Sounds fine lol.

Preferred Music - Metal, Synthwave, Folk, everything really.

I'd say I'd love more detail I feel like the Galaxy Buds aren't just annoying because they're wireless, but I also game a little and they're a bit lacking in Elden Ring.
