Just went with Monarch MkII based on reviews, the frequency response on the graphs, and compared to what I already owned (and liked) before the Kato (Galaxy Buds 2 Pro). From the bass to the mids they're somewhat similar to the Buds 2 Pro, and I liked the Buds 2 Pro bass quite a bit. The upper mids/treble area can get slightly fatiguing on some tracks with the Buds 2 Pro.

The Kato I definitely liked without EQ, but kind of missed the deeper/ sub bass response in comparison to the Buds 2 Pro, so with the EQ added to make it similar to the Monarch (and in turn bass similar to Buds 2 Pro) I probably like it a bit better. I didn't really touch beyond the upper mids with the EQ, just the sub bass into the mids at a few areas.
