"Crisp"

Elex has much less 6-10 kHz energy than Sundara, but I would never describe the latter as crisper than the former. A "liquid" or "wet" sound lacking in crispness is something that would make me check for excess 6-10 kHz first if anything.

The inconsistency of audio terminology makes it tempting to switch to frequency-based descriptors, but the supposed easy solution ends up being reductive to the point where you introduce a great degree of imprecision and become unable to accurately describe non-trivial deviations from neutrality. There are so many frequency ranges involved with, say, hollow timbre, with easy-to-find exceptions to each claimed rule, that I'd dismiss anything said by someone stating they can reliably point it out on a graph.
