When I first moved here 10+ years ago we had some minor issues with our mail carrier. it started off with just all the handwritten letters getting opened, after a while nearly everything in an envelope was opened and looked kind of restuffed. Every card with cash or gift cards was empty of course. And we were always getting just totally wrong addressed mail. Putting it back in the mailbox resulted in the carrier crossing out their name and writing "Or current resident" then leaving it in our mailbox. Still the wrong address. This happened just about every time.

Eventually I complained to the postmaster. It got way worse after that. Eventually we moved.

Complaints are not advised, they are spiteful and its my experience the postmaster is beyond worthless leaning towards malicious. Just my experience.
