My Miscreated experience:

I'd been wanting to play it since it came out, been more than 10 years since I had a machine capable of running pretty games.

Finally built a new machine and Miscreated was the first new game I immediately purchased, yesterday.

I picked a server with barely anyone in it on purpose, wanted to learn the game mechanics, get stoned and explore, experience my new graphics card in an awesome environment, etc. The server has 6 people when busy. Didn't run into anyone all day. Absolutely loving the game. Spent a long time at the airfield stashing stuff in a bush, until I had enough to start the military cargo van thing. Now I had to make a bunch of trips just to carry the amount of tires I needed for it. After like 4 hours I had this big awesome truck, roaming around the map, loving it. Felt so safe I would just shut the engine off in a bush to afk and have a smoke.

So I played all damn day, parking by rivers, exploring, I'd take the drive belt off when I left the vehicle, just in case. Everything ran smoothly except once the server restarted and my truck lost all the fuel and oil, so had to run around and get more. The environment does not get boring. I drove through the big city downtown area, honking my horn, hoping to find other survivors. Nobody, oh well.

Came back from a real life outing with friends late last night and decided to log on and fuck around some more. So now it's like hour 10 in the game. Still haven't run into anyone. I'm on the coast by Brightwood, laughing as I drive to drive my big silly truck up a huge hill, not having much success. BAM. Loud as hell, shots ring out, things seem blurry and I can see shards coming off my truck as it gets pummeled with bullets from an ak or something. My heart raced, adrenaline went (why I love these games) but I retained control, immediately reversing and spinning the vehicle around to speed down the hill, all the while this player shot at me. Must have had a lot of ammo. Shortly after I lost the truck; I think that person messed with my luck. Accidentally got out on a hill and it flipped, eventually exploded when I frustratingly fired a .45 mag into it.

I decided to hike back and try to visit the scene of the crime. I found it (one of those empty horse stable things, on a big hill, empty meadow. Dude was gone. That's where I started today, went down to brightwood to look for another vehicle. Still have not experienced death in the game at all. Good shit.

They need to make base building more of a thing, and make a way to absolutely keep your vehicle without worries of anything despawning. Obviously it's safety from other players entirely depending on the security of your base/garage structure.
