Roleplayers, what is going to be your character's backstory?

Fausto ''Tony'' Sterling (in case this sounds familiar to any of you, Fausto-Sterling is the last name of a feminist writer that I thought sounded perfect for a character name) was a professional conspiracy theorist. Raised as an only child by his paternal grandfather, Tony's childhood bedtime stories were tales of his father as a war hero and spy (his father was, in fact, only a low-level navy officer, but was quite fond himself of exaggerating his position; his lies, combined with the grief the grandfather felt over his death, culminated into him making up his own grand stories to tell the child that the himself began to believe.) His parents died in a car crash, which his grandfather told him was an assassination at the order of the president himself.

He grew up with a profound sense of distrust (high perception,) for his own government as well as other major social structures. He never did well in school, skipping as much as he could and fighting with the teachers when he was present, and dropping out as soon as he could (low intelligence.) He had a lot of trouble with the law: mostly theft, trespassing, and destruction of property, but he did a stint in jail for a series of assault charges (high agility, strength, low endurance.) He met his wife, also into conspiracies, at a survivalist shop buying supplies. She was, however, a much more stable person than he, and ended up coaxing him into settling down. He cut it with the crime and turned mostly to writing, which he proved fairly successful at (moderate-high charisma.) Both of them were exceptionally distrustful of Vault-Tec and tried to build their own shelter in their yard. But Nora had a change of heart when Shaun was born, and put their names in for the vault lottery. Tony was furious at first and swore he wouldn't go in with them... until they found out they got in, the bombs dropped, and he had no where else to go. Reluctantly, he accompanied Nora and Shaun into the vault.

Being the sole survivor (which I've decided means high luck) has left him with serious survivor's guilt, as well as validated every fear he's ever had in his life. He's anxious and paranoid, cynical and bitter, an all-around unpleasant person to be around. He's quick to start fights and resistant to joining a faction. He'll be chaotic neutral leaning chaotic evil. Definitely anti-synth.
