Scumbag Moneygrabs

in hearthstone you have to pay ridiculous amounts of time to gain anything, have you even played that game w/o spending money?

In SC, i get that spending $10,000 isnt necessary, but it will help you get things like naming star systems after yourself, things like flair that you can only get by spending extra money.

Being guilt tripped because if i didnt spend $10 on a golden fish for a digital fishtank i don't love the game as much as the guy who spent $5 on the silver one. If you can't tell you are being exploited at this point i dont know what to tell you.

I've got 1,800+ hours in CS:Go, buying that $500 dollar rare skin knife doesnt mean you love the game more, it means you have expendable income. In star citizen, you get things for throwing money at it, they are mostly flair items, but you can literally buy everything in that game. Why spend 50 hours grinding for a shitty spaceship when i can just drop $50 towards a battlecruiser? Trivialises gameplay and promotes imbalance.

SC the whole game is about getting bigger and better ships, and when you are done with the gear grind, you go after the silly things like acheivements, titles, and flair....trinkets. The person who spends more money on this shit will have more stuff, does that mean they played the game more? no, does that diminish the value of spending 50 hours to get that ship instead of spending two hours IRL working to get it, yes.

CS:Go is only about skins, and i have no problem with pure aesthetics, but in a game like H1Z1, even with the nerf, pumping out airdrops in a corner of the map with your buddies to get building supplies and ammo and other base supplies trivializes the endgame of finding all that stuff yourself.

I LOVE CS:Go, i paid for dark souls 2 entirely on drops i got from it, i could have spent that money on those shitty map packs, but i don't because gabe is just being greedy. Why in the hell would i support that when the quality of the Valve dedicated servers are diminishing constantly?

You want to talk about real problems? Real problems include having a game you spent most of your life playing suddenly make you charge money every couple months in map packs to keep up with the jonses. And then being forced to say no out of principle.

Real problems include this trend where its OK to go along with this garbage. Real problems include what are essentially voters voting against their own well being. Real problems include whats down the line....

Maybe im just the person who thinks the majority should benefit from any sort of implemented system. Maybe im the guy who wants to stop bad things before they start. Going back to global warming, everyone thinks its a problem now, noone does anything because its not in corporate interests do so and they are the ones in charge.

Maybe im just tired of being powerless to stop this sort of thing from happening, maybe im trying to put up a fight before the downfall of society, or more to the point (and in a shorter timeline) my enjoyment of gaming in general.

So fuck me for complaining about problems i deem relevant, and jumping on hate bandwagons. Fuck me for not wanting to be fucked, and letting people just fuck me over? I don't care if you enjoy being fucked like this, but you are being exploited for all your worth to them in the process while they rip you off.

Its no wonder why people feel the need to cheat in these games, its because they know this and feel entitled to do so. This evil sort of practice doesn't benefit the gamer whatsoever. Dev's saying sorry doesnt fix anything. Saying sorry only because it makes you more money to do so doesnt mean anything to me. It shouldnt have been implemented in the first place....especially given what was said.

Sorry for getting on a hate bandwagon and being an anti-fanboy, i just want to enjoy the fucking game, genuinely, in the first place.
