Sell or invest into it?

Just understand that repairs on this will be easier and should be far less expensive than a newer vehicle. I have a 96, which has less sensors than yours, but they are still quite primitive compared to all the electronics on 2007 and up vehicles. I would keep it, but you need to understand that you’ll likely be replacing a few things in the next few years including (but not limited to) maf sensor, o2 sensors, ball joints, tie rods, control arms, and bushings. I would take it to a reputable shop and have them inspect everything from the suspension, to the transfer case, and the onboard diagnostics. I bought mine in February of 2021, and I’ve thrown some money at it, but now it’s incredibly reliable and I love it. You did alright paying $4k since it’s 4x4, so you should be happy about that, but don’t get discouraged when things pop up, because that’s just the reality of older vehicles. This might be a good time to learn about performing some of the repairs yourself. YouTube has incredible videos on how to do just about anything. Especially on these trucks. Good luck!
