I do think it’s misleading when a 8th place dancer puts out they are 8th, but really with ties they are 24th overall.

I don't blame the dancers at all for posting about that because it's their achievement but I know if it was me, my issue would be that it wouldn't really feel special because I hadn't actually made top 10.

It also must really suck for the kids that don't place when top 10 is actually top 27 but there's only 50 kids in the division. Realistically, top 10 is there to recognise the 10 highest scoring dancers of the day so imo it should be kept as close to that as possible.

Also the predictability of the winners is a whole ass topic on its own.
