Problem isn’t you have to wear a mask and the university would maintain the same activity level. The problem here is that the university won’t be able to do all the in-person activities they have planned. Think rotating online-in person and reduced in person activities. God forbids Zoom University. This is what I have heard talking to faculties and administrative people.

All this because there are a minority of people who consciously make the ill-informed and un-scientific decisions to not get vaccinated for a disease that is still ravaging some areas of the world (East Asia).

You mask zealots should stop thinking it’s solely about “oh, you have to wear a mask and we’re cool.” It isn’t about that. This is a type of coddling policy. We are paying the price because of really shitty people who chose to be shitty and continue to do so and hamper recovery progress.

If they chose to not get vaccinated and they die. Is it our fault? Is it? If not, why TF are we paying the price for them. And when will this nonsense stop? When? Enough is enough. We deservely shit on anti-vax people who don’t vaccinate their kids for measles, etc. and cause an outbreak but for Covid it’s cool? Really?

You are in college. Think.
