How to prepare for challenge exams for CSCI 103 and 170?

I have taken this class previously using Susanna Epp's "Discrete Mathematics with Applications". This textbook has great reviews, and the material was easy to digest (whereas the proofs might have been a bit more abstract) but I wonder if it covers the same topics. USC's CSCI 170 course syllabi shows use of Kenneth Rosen's Discrete Math: http://www2.fiit.stuba.sk/~kvasnicka/Mathematics%20for%20Informatics/Rosen_Discrete_Mathematics_and_Its_Applications_7th_Edition.pdf and I wonder how different or "discretely distinct" their material are ;) All that said, any pointers on what to study for? The course covers so many topics to just "review discrete" imo. Our test is scheduled for Jan 4, 2019.
