Troubled relationships and feeling like road kill in the main part. The Knight as a situation, person or dynamic is very aggressive and his message comes across in painful ways. Self expression isn't very compassionate, subtle or endearing and much of the pain could be a self inflicted wound too. With Strength, there's a history of controlling partners who again are very aggressive and only want their way. The block itself is self expression or another interference, whether it's someone's dating history, a third party, troublesome friends, someone who creates drama. It seems like a tricky thing to navigate for the Knight who made some choices that were self serving like a one night stand or situationship. At one point he was that proverbial Knight in Shining Armor but either he himself is trouble or he finds the situation he's in troubling. Your love interest definitely wants to be left alone and doesn't wish to pursue any form of relationship or commitment. With the block, that's your experiences with Strength. It signals that this is a good time to understand those painful experiences because you will recover from grief. Vulnerability isn't an easy thing but brushing aside this Knight will be better for you in the long run. It helps you create boundaries and discourage him and others from taking advantage of you.

From recent past to near future there's people who look good on paper but make you feel empty inside. There's regrets strolling across the middle and once all the excitement in the 8 of Wands wore off, he left you feeling worthless. Issues with self esteem is worth examining because you'll find back in Strength and the Knight where conceited behavior and arrogance doesn't make for a potential partner.

Finding contentment within yourself in your foundation makes you uneasy but when we see the Tower reversed in the environment, that nudge from inside is pointing you to safety or helping you avoid the disaster that is the Knight and 3 of Swords. You're afraid to let go of him but it's really in your best interest to sit this one out. In the outcome, there is no love, support or unity and being taken advantage of instead. This is the worst case scenario if you don't put your attention on the Magician who is teaching you that there's a difference between love and infatuation. To create the relationship you want then it can't be done trying to magically turn this person into someone he's clearly not. He comes up again in your Hopes/Fears where the motivation is finding love and keeping it no matter the cost to other areas of your life. Yet, it's a lack of control back in Strength that urges you into situations with people like him that prevent you from having a certain equality. It leaves you feeling raw from the inside out. The relationship wasn't progressing as fast as you'd like but it was moving too far ahead to miss some key points along the way, namely in communication. How you're responding to it all in the 10 of Coins has something to do with your family, traditions, cultural norms and differences of opinion. You and your family clash, this Knight and you clash and creates a lot of heated arguments. If troubled relationships have been a norm for you then consider what is the alternative solution or approach? It goes back to needing to set clear and firm boundaries about what is and isn't acceptable behavior because this person, situation and how you're factoring in, is disturbing your security both emotionally and financially. Casual affair is indicated, insecurities, not being ready to settle down and needing to sit with the High Priestess and really think about what makes you fearless and what you fear. When you're feeling safe it makes you want to explore but maybe gets you in trouble and when you're feeling danger the damage has already been done. Face this darkness because confidence is gained by your decision to trust that sometimes being a witness is better than actively pursuing someone out of fear and uncertainty.
