Sir I believe your tree is leaking.

I saw the video as well, idk if I buy their explanation, especially about the roots moving that volume of water that quickly. I think continuous water pressure had to have just carved right through the stem for it to displace that much water so rapidly. They also said the tree’s been doing that for like 20-25 years and it’s still alive? I’m speculative about that as well, but I know that a tree’s vascular tissues and the cambium (growth layer) are very close to the surface of the trunk, so it’s possible, but it leaves the tree exposed to so many insects and fungi/pathogens, not to mention rot everywhere, especially at the roots.

Don’t get me wrong this is awesome to look at, I stared at it for quite a while, just seems like something’s off about their explanation to me.
