I'm not far in it but it's a nice read so far. I really admire Gucci, he's incredibly unique and innovative, especially for a mainstream artist in one of the most mainstream genres of the last couple decades. I think people easily dismiss him as dumb or not the greatest in terms of flow, but his music is total galaxy brain status. He managed to cultivate one of the very few distinguishable/unimitable styles of delivery in a genre (speaking of trap/pop rap here) which has been all but devoid of structural innovation for a few decades now (take the Migos/Future flow that has dominated for what seems like a century now for example, it's just a light permutation of old school Memphis triplet flows--but Gucci sounds like Gucci and nobody sounds like him, he doesn't have a Future or Designer type equivalent). We need more guys like him because the current standards have been run so damn deep into the ground
