I started playing when it was the last 2 weeks of that bingo event, I picked bathory from the FC golden ticket because ppl told me shes broken and only pulled on banners with units that work with my team/sf. I managed to pull FC zeon from Nation recruit, fc rera from Banner, fc Rachel from Banner, FC April from Banner, reached Master 3 in pvp Singles, my squad has 3.3m cp, have Rachel sf 1.2, currently in chapter 16 midway and f2p. If you forget the luck factor I think you just have to manage your ressources better and you can do so too. I never tougth about having blue buff or spending xes in soc in order to win anywhere and even if I lost in pvp I knew what I was lacking and figured out how to deal with certain units/teams even if I lose to those rera one hit openers xD. Think about it, why would they give you the opportunity to get 1 super nice fc and 2 other Black fc for (if unlucky) 35k xes? while every month the meta can change just like that and those 3 units maybe end up as decoration in your inventory while having no xes. If you re a beginner and have no units the shufraken Banner wouldn't be a bad decision since you get 3 good units with different roles or whales if you need them to fuse or the unit is really helping like fc April in Rachel Team or Valentina in Shufraken Team. So better use your brain, get the information, be patient and manage your xes well. Im a living example that it can be a game changer if you use the xes wisely.
