Current PC is…

• i5-8600K in a Z370 MB

• FE GTX 1060

• 16gb Ram

• in an NZXT H500i case

Now that I’m doing more gaming I want to slowly bring it relatively up to date, I mostly play Fighting Games, and some FPS, with single player AAA titles sprinkled in, at 1440p 144hz.

Where should I start, GPU? 3070? 3080?, should I upgrade the MB & CPU, I know this case is notoriously bad for circulation, should I migrate stuff to a better case and get other hardware later?

I’ll say about a $1000 budget to get me started, I could go with say like a 3090, but I think that’s way more than I personally need.
