Tips:
(1) choose locations that help you like ones that heal you, ones that let you look at the top card of master plan deck, ones that help you take care of thugs and civilians, and ones that help get back good cards in the story line or from your deck.
(2) kill sandman in the first round if possible before any bams activate and to get all heist cards on the bottom of the deck before they are played
(3) spread out thin to prevent any activated heist plans from taking 2 crisis tokens and to make sure you can be where vulture is to prevent his bam.
(4) make sure each location has at least 2 empty slots so that no overflow may occur
(5) vulture does well the longer the game is, so kill him ASAP. So taking the bam (as long as it doesn’t kill your hero) is always your best choice to make sure he doesn’t get a token and so that your heroes don’t get moved around.
(6) basics of team composition is usually 1 hero with good atk symbols, 1 with good heroic, and 1 with good movement. Round that out with a support character that heals, gives out extra Tokens, prevents damage, delays or filters through The master plan deck, or get back cards from the storyline.
You will need :
Someone great at dealing with overflow so that vulture doesn’t get extra tokens (mocking bird, hulk, Yondu) or someone great at killing sandman asap or killing vulture when the opportune arises (Thor, She Hulk, winter soldier)
someone great at filtering the top card of the master plan deck so you can plan out where to stop Vulture or to make sure all the heist plans are in the bottom of the deck (Jessica Jones, black widow, black cat)
someone with high movement to get to vulture to take the bam after knowing the next card or to make sure others have enough movement to spread out so that heist plan doesn’t do much (quick silver, black panther, star lord)
someone to heal other heroes or themselves that took the BAM damage (mantis, shuri, Luke cage)
Best team would be able to do all of that. My suggestion is a team like [Beta Ray Bill, Mantis, black cat, Spider-Man] or [black widow, ghost rider, Captain marvel, shuri]. You can also try these two Overpowered characters with low symbol count and round them out with heroes with high symbols (dr strange, Adam warlock, Thor, spider woman).
