They are in no way trying to degrade a race by not including it. They are simply being faithful to the genre they are representing. Show me a 1950's SciFi film that was made in America and includes people that aren't "white". You won't find it, or if you do it will be in one out of ever 100 movies. This is about time, not race. There simply weren't Asians or Africans or Russian (etc) actors in movies in that country at that time. Didn't happen.

Yes, it is tragic that people of color were not included in films back then. It's tragic how they are still treated today. But that has nothing to do with this game. We should not change the past to compensate for the present. I mean, with your logic, to bring it even closer to today, should we not also include trangenders, gays, lesbians, ladyboys, etc? No. Because they were not originally included in the mythos that the game is based on. Adding "people of color" to this game would be as offensive as remaking Roots with an all white cast.
