What's the point of arresting rapper for their lyrics?

Look, I think any word that can found in the dictionary should be available for use in songs if the writer wants to. You don't ban dictionary for containing those words. Right? Then why the songs? Also I am a supporter of use of drugs. They open up a whole new aspect of human mind which you may have experienced if you have ever been high. My concern is about how those words are used in songs. Bob Dylan's song Mr. Tambourine Man is about drugs but there is not a single mention of drugs or any obscene words. Some songs of the Beatles have obscene words but they are so masterfully placed that it doesn't sound vulgar at all. On the other hand phrases like Thailand ko maal hanchu are frankly vulgar. His other songs have misogynistic contents. While being free to speak what you want when you want is guaranteed by the Constitution, those are for personal opinions. Being a popular artist has a whole another level of responsibility. You should think about the impact it will have on your audience, should age restrict the video while uploading, beep inappropriate words and bluntly speaking should not express their sexual frustration and mommy/daddy issues in songs in the name of rap or hip hop or whatever the hell it is called.

The problem is not drugs but the glorification of use of drugs in video form. One may argue, if you are stupid enough to do drugs because someone raps about it, then chances are you're not a smart person but we all know deep down in our hearts that we took that first puff of pot or cigarettes because it looked so cool on television. We found alcohol too bitter at first but decided to drink it all because not drinking it would be so uncool. Only later we came to know that people didn't drink alcohol for its taste. The singer didn't force anyone but rather 'influenced' others to take drugs.

Ultimately, it is not about portrayal of use of drugs in songs but about freedom of speech. Had the government ordered to put restriction in his videos or banned the portrayal of use of drugs in music videos it was a different issue. But arresting the singer violated the Constitutional right of that person and I am always against that.
