When you invested in tesla and even did the slightest dd you would know that you are buying shares of elon too. His popularity and status factored in bigtime in the valuation at which tsla was before but elon has always been famous for his public stunts and arrogance (not necessarily negative arrogance) so if he does something stupid, which was only a matter of time, the stock will tank.

Ofc the stock isn't declining because of the twitter ordeal alone but it certainly helped to give a gentle push.

Altough not invested in tsla anymore I plan to buy back in when things calmn down a little.

There's also the possibility elon is playing 4d chess and nobody is catching on to it, yet shareholders suffer either way.
