OPs lawyers are the one who said that he left her just enough to try and stop her from contesting the will. Where they are doesn’t matter to my comment in the slightest, that is a legal loop hole. Leaving your spouse homeless by leaving them the smallest amount you can possibly get away with for the intentional purpose of tying to stop them from fighting for what they are entitled to (again, OPs lawyers have said she could win the right to stay in the home, she just doesn’t have enough money to enforce this right) is a legal loophole. It sure is legal, but it’s shady as fuck and what really shows it’s a loop hole is her having grounds to fight it (but again, she is too poor to fight for her own rights).
