And then we wonder why they’re still struggling.

So South Africa and Rhodesia/Zimbabwe had no infrastructure when blacks took over the governments? Must be why one was the strongest most advanced country in Africa and now is a dump continually regressing and the other was one of the worlds breadbaskets and now imports food to their starving people?

Honestly blaming colonialism hundreds of years ago for Africa's failures is foolish. They didn't have empires or advanced civilization before so what did it really matter if a more advanced civilization came in and took resources? In return the people there became more advanced and recieved electricity/running water/roads/bridges/railways/houses etc. Its not the colonial countries fault that when they left all of that infrastructure and advancement is thrown away. I dont know what the answer is but have seen countries like Haiti where the earthquake rubble instead of being removed is just pushed to the side so they have a walkway and they're living amongst the ruins. Why not have some kind of ambition and at least move shit outta the way? They have wheelbarrows in the photos and just dont bother doing the work. Sorry but you cant blame colonialism for laziness and lack of ambition.
