the UK has a form of Electoral College called FPTP

it enables the right and far right to gain large majorities, despite most of the population voting against them

2015 David Cameron majority with 36% of vote

2019 Boris Johnson super majority with 43% of vote

the Republicans are exactly the same...

when left leaning and progressive governments are elected - if they have the majority to do so they should abolish voting systems that elect governments by a minority vote percentage

it isn't fair that these now far right governments who are out for themselves, their freinds and family and favoured corporations get to run our counties into the dirt with a minority of the public voting for them
