None of those sound remotely likely. Most would require such an obscenely unreliable narrator that they just don’t seem viable.

I think that whoever the rapist guy on the ship was is going to turn up at some point. That plot thread is going places.

I think all of the religious people will die along with mother and father. The kids will be raised by Marcus and Sue. They are the wolves in sheep’s clothing... other people’s skin.

The kid is definitely not a robot. He’s definitely some kind of genius/jesus allegory though.

I have a feeling he will get sick from the old and very radioactive seed, and they will need to get help from the monster thing they captured.

We haven’t actually seen one of the monsters hurt someone have we? They look threatening but who knows. Maybe they were just being curious. Xenophobia is real.
