Trouba and Bennett fight til they are leaking blood

Adding safety precautions beyond reasonable limits isn't smart. People don't calculate proper risk assessment when an abundance of safety measures are in place. It's why youth football is practicing without helmets and saw a tremendous decrease in concussions. It's why child development studies from 20 years ago cautioned against foam/soft plastic completely safe playground equipment. It's why Enstrom turned his back to Sestito - something you will never see in classic hockey games in the 70s. When people were wearing soft pads under their jerseys and there were no helmets the game was slower because people routinely gave up possession to protect themselves. Now that all the players are armored up in hard plastic shells they blaze around the rink at the highest possible speeds and allow themselves to go into horrifically vulnerable positions because their gear will protect them. This obsession with making the game safer at all costs is ruining it and actually making it more dangerous.
