Who's wrongly portrayed as a hero?

Wow. Read about 10 comments and what the fuck people? I get the question is a bait for answers like Steve Jobs or Jenner.

But honestly, people are considered heros because they changed history, the world, and often helped others vastly at the expense of their family, friends, and themselves. Next thing I'm going to see is someone say MLK isnt a hero cause he slept with other women who werent his wife (look it up, yes it was the FBI who exposed it partially but it wasnt untrue).

No. Just no no no. Don't tear down every single fucking person who did amazing good for others in their lives for their faults.

NOBODY IS PERFECT. HEROS ARE NOT PERFECT. Seriously guys? How do you expect future generations, or our generation, to do serious good if they think it's impossible to be a hero if you've done wrong.

Get the fuck over yourselves. Sorry I am hostile but god damn, being a hero isnt about being perfect. Being a hero is fucking up and continuing to try to bring good to the world and those around you anyway. To improve the lives of those around you on a grand scale, often at the cost of those you love. Vets dying hurts their families, right? How many of you consider veterans heros? How can you forgive if you havent been forgiven? How can you change the world without sacrificing yourself? How can you empathsize if you havent done wrong yourself?

Do you think even Fred Rogers (seemingly perfect) would say he never said a harsh word? Or hurt another person? Would he think this type of tearing down of people who sacrificed their lives, relationships and loved ones in a hope to better the world is the right thing?

We should honor recovery, honor love despite failure, love despite pain, forgiveness and hope. Fuck all this judgement. Fuck these people saying Jenner, Jobs, Chris Kyle arent heros. It's a joke. Jobs built a company that does amazing good for millions of people from employees to customers to technology related to global human communication. Jenner said she/whatever didnt give a fuck about mix sex and took another step toward accepting humans as humans, not fucking labels or whatever. C Kyle died trying to help vets deal with the same issues he developed himself.

Fuck.
