I, an autistic person, call my friends retarded all the time. Because it's just a word. It will only hurt me if I allow it to. Obviously i'm not actually calling my friends neurodivergent as an insult. That makes no sense, because very few of my friends are autistic. But the ones who also are autistic dont give a shit because we don't let words hurt us.

And by the way, if people call other people retarded with us in mind, it's because we're the only ones trying to associate ourselves with the words retard. Except we don't allow people to say it. It's ridiculous.
