Two banks cancel Brexit recession forecasts

Naturally we have the old "But Article 50 hasn't been invoked!" excuse appearing in the comments. That might be valid, except there were predictions of recession as recently as a month ago, even when it was clear that we wouldn't be immediately invoking Article 50.

The people who have been predicting doom couldn't be more thoroughly discredited. Then again, many of them were the same sort of people who were calling for us to join the Euro, so I don't know why anybody ever listened to a word they said in the first place.
