I order my Moto X Pure within the first couple hours of the pre order going live. The next day I was scrolling through the MOTO X subreddit and notice there was a block charger the P4000 that could be added to a moto x pure phone at a discounted price of $7.99. At that price it seems like a no brainer and since I saw some people say they had success adding the block the day after their order I'd give it a try. The 1st rep said sorry but cant change the order. 2nd rep said sorry but no they cant change order and they cant give me the charger at the $7.99 since it's in another transaction. The rep suggested I re-order the phone with the charger and return the 1st phone(I order a custom phone with engraving) I told them I thought that was pretty ridiculous suggestion and also let them know that the phone is now not in stock and I'm trying to get my phone as soon as possible. The rep then offered a refund of my money and they could cancel my order If I wanted. I did not want to cancel and wait who knows how much longer for my phone and left it at that. So I got off work and decided to give it ONE more try. Just like rep 1 and 2 rep 3 tells me not possible to change order. But the rep offered to get my the charger at 10% off. So then I told the rep what if I could keep the 1st phone, order the 2nd phone + charger then return phone #2 when I get it and keep the charger to get the discount. He said it varies on order #( not sure what that ment) So I went for my last ditched effort and told the rep "I have seen blogs online where people were able to add the charger block to their order the next day for $7.99 but your saying that's not possible?" The rep responded with " Its okay since you already purchase Motorola phone I will just give you a free charger as a one time courtesy." I gladly appreciated that offer and accepted. The rep sent me a confirmation email with the order #. Rep told me I will get it within 3-5 business days. At first I was a very upset being a first time Motorola customer with them suggesting I pay for another phone and return the 1st phone just so I can get the discount on their charger. But like they say the squeaky wheel gets the oil. All I wanted for them was to match the offer of $7.99 especially since it was a pre-order and my delivery date says it wont even ship till the 9th. The Motorola rep went beyond my expectations. I'm now a very happy and will be a loyal Motorola for a long time to come.
