why is the big brother fanbase so hateful

Because you have a group of people who feel like they know how to play just from watching from their couches, along with the fact that people want to have an ending that they are happy with coupled with the fact that we can watch everything that goes on almost 24/7 for all of houseguest’s unfavorable qualities to be exposed. Now, with the modern era since social media is so prevalent what used to be something people said to their tv’s or their families can now be put on an international platform along with an @ of the person so that when they get out they’ll be able to see what people have been saying about them.

Now, this obviously isn’t the whole fan base as theirs totally people out there that can keep their emotions in check. But when you have corners of the fan base who some either haven’t grasped the fact that people are allowed to make mistakes without that necessarily making them a terrible person. Given that Twitter is generally a place that is seen as “toxic” and the fact that the majority of these people are younger I don’t know if some of them have lived enough of life to have examples of their own lives where they regret things they have done or said in their past.

Not to mention but with social media it’s made it easier for the more casual/average viewer to communicate their thoughts about the game and I don’t think I really have to explain that some of those casuals don’t grasp optimal strategies of the game and the toll of the game, and are more focused on just watching something happen that they enjoy.
