A man broke into my house when I was around 22. He literally was walking towards me brandishing a knife. I ran so fast to my neighbor's leaving all the doors open as I ran. My mom left work early and the police showed up. The police told me I was crazy !,d imagining things stating that home breakins had not happened in the area since the 1800s and that it was just anxiety. I know what I saw and the smell of the person still lingered. He was wearing all black.

My roommate at university attacked me and I was scared to sleep in the same space as her. Police came and refused to do anything even though she was screaming and had hit me.

I called the police on my abusive ex who used to hit me 24/7 and they said they couldn't do anything because he was a citizen of Canada. They looked me directly in the face where I had one eye that I couldn't even open and showed no sympathy.

Maybe it's just my experiences, but I hope to meet a nice one one day.
