No f'ing joke!!!! He would be in jail! A very similar situation happened to an ex roommate/good friend of mine in California. He ended up being arrested the night he broke up with his girlfriend who also had a history of self mutilation..... Apparently, after he kicked her out of his house, she said something like "if I can't have u no one will". He said they just had finished a screaming match and he was tired so he thought that was the end of it said she could get her stuff the next day. But after he went to bed. She started to cut herself, then she went to the police station, and decided to say her boyfriend held her down and cut her arms. A few hours later he was woken up by the police,(she gave the police the house key) and taken to jail without understanding what happened until they told him why he was being arrested. He had to hire a lawyer and fight the case for quite awhile bc she refused to tell the truth about her self mutilation.
