So I’m currently going through the visa process right now. We applied in summer of 2021 that application was approved in the fall of 2022 and we are onto the last step now which hopefully will be done in the next few months but it could also be a lot longer too.

They could do the fiancé visa which basically he would have to go to the US and they would need to get married within 90 days of his arrival. He would then stay in the US until the green card is awarded and usually cannot leave until it is.

Needless to say it’s not a quick or cheap option and requires a ton of paperwork too!

I doubt they would look at the UK option, but it’s a fraction of the time and process compared to the green card.
