Waga Tanaka is getting viral again, but not positively...

Damn, sucks for Tanaka. Of course you'll have various trolls and rage addicted people online seeking someone to blame, point fingers at some old comedy skit.

IMO this is unfortunately how things seem to go with (video) social media. Stupid trends that young impressionable, inexperienced, teenagers who haven't developed enough empathy will propagate.

Maybe I will come off as some sort of curmudgeon... but I personally don't see the positives of having children and teenagers using social media such as tiktok or the like. It's full of health mis-/disinformation, dangerous or stupid trends (such as this), political propaganda, astroturfing, influencers with vapid takes. And every single one of you can become tiktok famous if you do something stupid enough.

I guess it's nice they don't seem to have the trend of teens running up and sucker punching some unsuspecting innocent person yet, like we've had in other places.
