Booking a wedding flight from YOW to Punta Cana for May 2020. I have to be there, and with flights being cancelled I want to book now to make sure I get on something.

Question: what's the best way to protect myself from coronavirus related flight cancellation AFTER I've booked? What CC should I use to book it? I have CIBC Aerogold VI, RBC Avion VI, Scotiabank Passport, AMEX Cobalt, TD Aeroplan VI, and 75k Aeroplan points I can use (but it seems to be booked up on aeroplan already).

In the worst case scenario that coronavirus makes the trip impossible (or the wedding is cancelled) and the carrier (looks like it will be WestJet) refuses to refund travellers for flights already booked, what CC should I be using to buy the trip and have the best chance of getting trip cancellation covered by the card?
