yeah one thing I've never seen from the so called reasonable republicans (non magas) is any kind of acknowledgement that their portrayals of democrats/people on the left is flat out wrong and that it helped push their base further and further to the right.

the non maga/traditional republicans have been lying to their followers for decades about the democrats/left. They've been calling democrats socialists/communists for decades. They've been saying they're going to take your guns away, that they want to raise the average person's taxes, etc.

those lies are the precursors to "democrats are satanic pedophiles"

Maybe they should admit they've been lying about democrats/the left this whole time and that their rheotric got us to maga.
