Weekly question and vent thread: 12/24-12/31

I have two job offers. One is fully remote for a company based in another state, and one is local, 3 days in office and two days at home. After almost two years of working from home I’m bored and lonely so I’d be down for a few days in the office and the socialization that comes with that. I also think working fully remote can make it a lot harder to develop/maintain relationships with colleagues. But I’d be sitting in a cubicle (pre Covid I had an office). Honestly idk if I can go back to the lifestyle of pretending like it’s somehow shameful to be browsing the web at work and whatnot, quickly closing tabs like I’m a delinquent high schooler and not a grown ass adult who gets my work done. And just not having the flexibility anymore… I like that WFH, I can sleep in and start working at 9:30 and no one notices or cares because I get my job done. But roll into the office at 9:30, and you’re a flake.

Anyway, I kinda feel like Goldilocks.
