Let's be honest for a second: ASMR is weird. I had to create a second YouTube account just for ASMR that I only use in incognito mode because of all the crazy videos that kept being recommended like towel folding tutorials and whack job flat earthers.

ASMR purists are going to tell you that any response to music is frisson, but I'd say it depends on what's giving you tingles. Is it the movement and sounds or is it an emotional crescendo of some kind? The former I'd call ASMR. The latter I'd call frisson.
