Who Are We? We are the The Not-So Inglourious Basterds, or NSIB for short. Founded two years ago by a group of experienced Mil-Sim players, our aim is to provide a large degree of variety to Arma that's not seen in other Units. Playing in three time periods (World War Two, The Vietnam War, and Modern Times) as a wide variety of factions, we allow members to expereince Arma in a relaxed setting without all of the typical Mil-Sim beurociacy and drama that typically is involved.
What do we offer? In the NSIB, we offer players the chance to play in three time periods, all in one Unit with the same group of players, without any strenuous training or pointless logistics. We play as all sorts of factions within all time periods, ranging from Marine Raiders in World War Two to Pershmerga Forces in their fight against ISIS. In our missions, we shy away from the typical "attack a town and kill a bad man" mission types, but instead favor doing something different each week, doing whatever our members desire. All of this is done without having members go through any pointless training courses or having them fill out pages of paperwork, or having anyone simply be a number.
What do we require from you? The ability to attend two Operations a week on a regular basis. Main Operations are held at 5:30PM EST on Fridays and Saturdays, along with a more free-from Mini-Operation or PvP Session at 1:00PM EST on Sunday. The willingness to download aproximatly 45GB of mods. We understand that this is a lot, but it's nessisary for us so that we are able to provide the variety that we proudly promote A decent attitude, one that welcomes jokes but also knows when to become serious Not to be in any Arma 3 Mil-Sim Unit The Apex Expansion A minimum age of 14. Anyone under this age must be interviewed and allowed in based on the Unit's reception of you.
