Western expats, what is your plan?

I've lived in China for years now , own a company here in SH, more than enough money to leave and go anywhere that I want. I never really considered leaving because I have an amazing girl in my life that I couldn't imagine giving up for anything honestly. Its rough here but honestly you need a backbone in life and try to understand that life is just life sometimes. You gotta take the good the bad and the ugly. I know there are a ton of things I hated back home that will keep me away for life and to be fair there are plenty of places outside Shanghai in China that would be great to live. Just this visa process during the lockdown is the hardest/ being away from my old lady. Lets just ride it out and see how we feel once life gets back to normal some. I know during the lockdown alone / the entire market collapse in the world right now I've lost 100k usd in the last 4 weeks. Life can be hard, life can get worse, but as long as you're alive you have a chance to fix it / make it right. Goodluck to everyone and hope no matter what you choose you find some peace out of all the chaos.
