The point of Loopring is to offer companies an easy way to offer a DEX, NFT marketplace, and wallet based on Ethereum. All non-custodial and cheaper for the company itself (development costs) and customers (transaction costs). The DApps built on Loopring will come with their own customer bases, marketing engines, etc.. Loopring can eventually be deployed on top of whatever zkEVM becomes prominent or all of them. LRC holders benefit by offering liquidity for fees, securing the protocol with insurance staking, and getting a slice of each transaction fee via the DAO (which will be burned). The last 2 are in the works. LRC is a long-term hold while Loopring partners will massive players like GME.
