With my first, the most argued boundary from both grandmas was- our baby is not on social media- not announcing the pregnancy, not announcing the birth, not updating with pictures. My husband felt strongly about this and we stood firm together. It’s come in handy since (like nobody gets to throw jealous fits over perceived unfair allocation of our time based on stupid fb posts) Other boundaries- must have TDAP to visit no visits more than 5 days no overnight guests (in laws from out of state) for 3 months- husband didn’t enforce that one and I’m still annoyed no kissing the baby (why does this need to be said!?) Under age 13, you need an adult and a boppy to hold the baby Nobody gets to snatch the baby from his parents!
