We've just come out of a multiple month long Force meta, the class that happens to build Blight the slowest whether it's using Rod or Talis. I've been in just as many groups where Blight built so slow it could expire, an issue compounded in 4-man content.

I've mentioned it before, but it bears repeating. The first time Blight enhances it lasts for a longer duration than being refreshed. It's a good opportunity to channel a PA. Unless you're in imminent danger or using sub weapons, Blaze Shot is far and away the best/correct answer in the large majority of situations.

Good PP management does reduce it's priority, but not invalidate it.
