"If you hate the game so much, just unsubscribe."

Yeah, but it's not the same as the country example you gave, or anything else similar to that. This is something you do in your free time as a hobby; unsubbing from it and finding a new game could be a 10 minute process and would end your complaining.

I played WoW from 2005-2009. Vanilla the game was great because of the community; that continued into BC for the most part, but I thought it began to die out in wrath. A combination of growing up/getting older and losing most of the people I played with, and PvP becoming about doing 10 arena games a week vs hours upon hours of BGs with your entire guild, all killed it for me. Blizzard made it clear it would never be like that again, and from what I see here from my monthly or so check ins it's gotten even worse; almost completely being a solo act now.

Some people will like it and some people will hate it, but this is the direction the game has slowly been taking for the past decade; it's not like this is sudden or should be a surprise. Every single expansion has made the game "worse" to anyone who enjoyed the way it was in original. That's just obvious. It's now a game for casuals that don't want to work hard at it, Blizzards announced numerous times thats what they wanted; because the reality is the majority of people like it that way, and the "hardcore" or whatever you want to call it people who miss the way it used to be, having to BG or Raid and grind 10 hours a day to get ANYTHING are in a distinct minority.

If you don't like it, even if you hate the saying, it's the truth. Just unsubb, and find a new game, or something else in life to focus your time on; because the game won't change for you, or anyone else here.
